Our Service Work

Christ Follower Counseling

As a Faith-based nonprofit organization Overcome raises funds in order to provide Christ centered counseling and coaching to individuals, couples, and families who cannot afford such support. Throughout the years of providing therapy, counseling and coaching services in the greater Nashville area we have seen too many individuals, couples and families who cannot afford the benefits of sitting with a behavioral or mental health professional. We have also seen how such services have enhanced the life of thousands of people. We do what we do because we love to see people have peace and joy in their lives that even bad days cannot destroy permanently. Ultimately that peace and joy lies in our identity and relationship with Jesus Christ. Our mission is to be ambassadors for Christ while providing Scripture focused Christian mental and behavioral health therapy and life skills coaching for individuals, couples and families who cannot afford it. It is our mission to help people strengthen and/or maintain their walk with Jesus Christ even during life challenges and struggles by listening with compassion and speaking truthful words in a loving way. Tell Your Stories

One of the most important and effective things that we can do is tell our story. That is, share our testimony. Your story will definitely encourage someone else to overcome their unique struggles and help strengthen the body of Christ. Everything that we all have overcome has been due to the grace of God, the Truth of Jesus Christ and the Power of the Holy Spirit. When you share your story we will take time to read it and then share it hear on our website and if you give us permission, possibly in literature we produce. Save Our Sons And Daughters Scholarship

There are growing concerns of Christian children, adolescents, young adults and their parents as it relates to public schools and state universities. These concerns range from the absence of Christian principles to the quality of education to the negative treatment of Christ following students. However, not all concerned children, adolescents, young adults and parents can afford to attend private Christian schools and universities. It is our prayer to be able to be a blessing in the lives of these children and their families by supporting them with the financial cost of private Christian schools and universities. Giving these children, adolescents and young adults the opportunity to strengthen their faith and strengthen their walk with Jesus Christ while protecting their young minds from the secular ideologies is priceless because it strengthens the Body of Christ in our communities across our God given country and it protects their salvation. We take very seriously the trust you put in Overcome when you give and we believe it is our God-given responsibility to be good stewards of every penny we receive. It is not our intention to burden you, or cause feelings of necessity, pressure or obligation for financial support in regards to the urgency of this ministry. God loves a cheerful giver and so do we.

It is our goal to uphold the standards and accountability of the Word of God as we are committed to fiscal integrity. Overcome also aspires to be compliant with the Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship put forth by the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.
